About the job Construction Manager - Transportation Division
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage transportation construction projects from start to finish.

Lead and coordinate construction staff and subconsultants to maximize efficiency and project success.

Support business development efforts, project pursuits, and client engagement.

Develop and implement quality control, safety plans, and project schedules.

Prepare reports, conduct progress meetings, and monitor staff performance.

Ensure all work complies with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
-
Minimum of 15 years experience in construction management with agencies such as IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, counties, or municipalities.

Strong knowledge of transportation construction processes, standards, and quality regulations.

Proficient in business and engineering software applications.
-
Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and project management skills.
