Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Water Solutions team, leading electrical engineering and construction projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area and across the U.S. West Coast. This role provides the opportunity to:

  • Lead projects, including managing schedules, budgets, and staffing

  • Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff supporting project design

  • Serve as a technical expert in electrical power distribution and plant electrical systems

  • Support business development for enhanced electrical services

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and drivers

  • Oversee construction inspections and resolve electrical construction issues

  • Coordinate with local electrical utilities on project requirements

  • Review supplier submittals for compliance and quality

  • Act as a liaison between local and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design

  • Support startup and testing of major electrical equipment

  • Continuously develop technical expertise and expand knowledge in specialty areas

Location & Work Options
This position primarily supports projects in the Phoenix, AZ area. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be available after 90 days, depending on manager discretion, performance, and project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or another U.S. jurisdiction

  • 5-8 years of experience in electrical design, planning, and construction services

  • Consulting experience in water/wastewater projects preferred

  • Knowledge of medium and low-voltage power distribution equipment, including VFDs and standby diesel generators

  • Familiarity with PLC hardware/software, network configuration, HMI, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and fiber optic cabling

  • Experience in client-facing and business development roles

  • Power system analysis experience using SKM, ETAP, or similar software is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited program

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record verification as applicable
