These Candidate Application Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any individual (“you”, “the candidate”) who submits an application, resume, or request for employment support via SOLVi Recruitment, a division of SOLVI PTY LTD. By submitting an application or registering with us, you agree to the following:
1. Nature of Our Services
- All roles are located in Australia and are subject to Australian employment, licensing, and migration requirements.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee a job offer, interview, or visa sponsorship.
2. Registration, Licensing and Skill Assessment Requirements
- If you are a healthcare practitioner or medical doctor, you must hold valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencing any clinical employment.
- You may also be required to obtain additional licences or skill assessments (e.g., ANMAC, VETASSESS, Trades Recognition Australia).

3. Migration Requirements
- All positions are subject to Australian migration law. You must hold or be eligible for a visa permitting permanent work in Australia.
- SOLVi Recruitment does not guarantee sponsorship or provide migration advice.

4. Active Register
4.1 Upon submitting an application or resume, or requesting assistance, you will be placed on our active candidate register.
4.2 You will remain active unless:
- You notify us in writing that you are no longer seeking work;
- Your licensing or registration expires, is suspended, or is not current;
- You are no longer eligible for an Australian visa;
- We receive substantiated reports of unsatisfactory performance or conduct;
- You breach the responsibilities outlined in these Terms.
4.3 While active, and where a suitable opportunity arises, we may:
- Assess your suitability for the position;
- Verify the accuracy and currency of your personal and professional information;
- Present you to our client by providing relevant information, including your CV, registration status, availability, and any supporting details we deem appropriate.
4.4 While on our active register, you must:
- Maintain all registrations, licences, and accreditations relevant to your profession;
- Keep us informed of any changes to your application, qualifications, or circumstances;
- Notify us of outcomes of interviews, offers, or placements, including salary and benefits offered;
- Inform us if you accept employment via another agency while we are assisting you.
5. Disclosure of Position Information
We will disclose the following information about any job opportunity before an interview is arranged:
- Identity of the employer;
- Position title and requirements;
- Employment type, hours, salary, duties, and leave entitlements;
- Other relevant details as required by law.
6. No Legal Advice Provided
- Information on this website or provided during the recruitment process is general in nature. Nothing constitutes legal advice.

7. Representations and Implied Terms
- We do not guarantee that any position will meet your expectations or provide a specific outcome.
- Our liability is limited to providing recruitment services again at no cost or refunding service fees, where applicable.
8. Relationship Management
- You will be assigned a recruitment consultant who may change over time.
- We may be paid a fee by the client for presenting your profile.
- There may be limitations on how and when we can present you to clients, including the use of referee feedback.
9. Candidate Acknowledgements and Responsibilities
You confirm that:
- You possess the skills and qualifications represented in your documents;
- You are eligible to work in Australia (or can meet migration requirements);
- You have disclosed any relevant medical, legal, or regulatory issues that affect your ability to work;
- You consent to referee, police, and credential checks as required;
- You will not swap or exchange a placement with others;
- You will not take on conflicting employment that may compromise your duties;
- You have read the AMA Safe Working Hours Code (if applicable);
- You will give 7 days’ written notice to withdraw from our register.
10. Personal Information Use and Disclosure
10.1 Your data will be collected, stored, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
10.2 You consent to:
- Sharing your profile with clients and partners;
- Reference, background, social media, and credential checks;
- Disclosure of details relevant to your employment suitability.
10.3 We will act in good faith but are not liable for any loss resulting from lawful use of your data in line with these purposes.
11. Confidential Information
You must not use or disclose any confidential information obtained through our recruitment process, including:
- Employer or client details;
- Assignment specifics;
- Internal recruitment practices.
12. Fees and Cancellations
12.1 We do not charge candidates any placement fees. Our clients pay us directly.
12.2 The fees we receive from clients are strictly confidential. Clients are contractually bound not to disclose this information to you.
12.3 If you are placed in a role via our introduction (directly or indirectly), a placement fee applies.
12.4 Clients may not engage you directly within 12 months of our referral without being liable for a placement fee.
12.5 We are not liable for any placement cancellation. You must:
- Inform us immediately of any cancellation, change, or termination;
- Understand that cancellations within 72 hours of start may incur penalties from the client;
- Acknowledge that failure to complete a contract voids any agreed reimbursements.
13. Dispute Resolution
- If any dispute arises between the parties in connection with these Terms or your engagement with a client, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation, mediation, or expert appraisal.
- If the dispute remains unresolved after reasonable efforts, the matter will be referred to the Chief Executive Officer of SOLVi Recruitment for review and determination.
- Nothing in this clause limits your right to make a complaint to a regulatory authority or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction, such as the Office of Fair Trading or Fair Work Ombudsman.
14. Severance
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be severed and the remaining terms will continue in full force.
15. Waiver
Failure by us to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Candidate Application Terms and Conditions for the duration of your candidacy with SOLVi Recruitment.
