Responsibilities

Supplier Management & Coordination

  • Communicate regularly with Chinese suppliers to monitor purchase orders, production schedules, delivery timelines, and shipment readiness.
  • Evaluate supplier performance (OTD, quality issues, lead-time accuracy) and propose improvement actions.
  • Assist in sourcing activities, supplier qualification, and price/contract negotiations as needed.
  • Translate documents, specifications, and communications between Chinese and English/Thai when required.

Demand, Inventory & Material Planning

  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and consumption patterns to create accurate material replenishment plans.
  • Monitor safety stock, reorder points, and buffer inventory for China-sourced materials.
  • Provide daily/weekly updates on material availability and potential shortages.
  • Work closely with production planning teams to ensure materials meet production schedules.

Logistics & Import Coordination

  • Track shipments from China via sea, air, or cross-border transport, ensuring all logistics steps follow schedule.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth import processes.
  • Review and validate shipping documents (invoice, packing list, CO, BL/AWB, etc.) to ensure compliance.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct cost, lead-time, and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop regular supply chain dashboards on supplier performance, inventory status, and logistics KPIs.
  • Support management decision-making with data-driven insights and scenario analysis.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify supply chain risks related to suppliers, logistics, policies, and economic trends in China.
  • Propose solutions for lead-time reduction, cost saving, and process improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chinese market conditions, regulations, and trade policies.

Qualifications

  • Chinese nationality with strong proficiency in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or production planning (Chinese supplier interaction is a plus).
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries is advantageous.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong command of Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Solid analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or supply chain software (SAP, ERP, MRP).
  • Knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, logistics, and import processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
