Database Administrator

Responsibility

• Database server knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, DB2
• Install and maintain the performance of database servers
• Develop process for optimizing database security
• Set and maintain database standards
• Manage database access
• Performance tuning of database system
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
• Create and manage database reports and dashboards
• Create automation for repeating database tasks
• Be available for on-call support as needed
• To quickly learn new database services
• 5+ years hands-on experience as a DBA

Qualification

• Have expertise in Oracle, DB2, MySQL data intelligence systems
• Install, maintain, and perform database system performance, including database system security
• Take care of and develop work processes to increase database system performance
• Set and maintain database standards
• Manage, control, and assign access rights to database systems
• Be able to adjust database system performance settings to increase performance
• Have skills in analyzing and fixing database system errors
• Create and manage new database system reports and apply them to work
