Factory Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for overseeing production to meet targets, ensuring product quality and safety, managing staff performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance. It also involves inventory management, coordinating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met

• Monitor production lines and manage workflow to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure products meet safety standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes.
• Supervise and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Manage team performance, conduct reviews, and facilitate professional development.
• Ensure all operations comply with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Keep updated with changes in regulations and adjust processes accordingly.
• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery and distribution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
• Use data analysis to drive decision-making and enhance production efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years management level, at least 5 years in factory manager position.
• Background in Packaging/Food industry is preferred. (both for B2B and B2C channels)
• Possess a degree from a recognized education institution in a relevant field (e.g., food science, manufacturing, engineering) or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of Thai food safety regulations and quality control standards
• Is well- organized and has an efficient and customer satisfaction-oriented mindset
• Strong communication abilities in Thai and English are required.
