Job summary
Provide IT support, maintain systems, and ensure network, server, and device functionality across the factory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage servers, network infrastructure, internet systems, and all IT equipment within the factory to ensure efficiency and uptime.
- Install and manage internal communication systems, including email, file sharing, and online communication tools.
- Provide user support and troubleshoot basic IT issues related to computers, software, and peripherals.
- Install, maintain, and update hardware, software, and operating systems to ensure readiness for daily operations.
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems and IT security controls within the factory.
- Install and verify internal network connections (LAN) across all factory areas.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team or external vendors for IT-related repairs, upgrades, or maintenance.
- Prepare maintenance logs, usage reports, and problem statistics to support planning and improvement efforts.
- Monitor the performance of the network, servers, and overall IT infrastructure, and report to supervisors.
- Support other IT-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Male or Female, age not over 45 years.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT Support or Helpdesk; experience in a factory or manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and basic software installation.
- Understanding of network systems, internet connectivity, firewall configurations, routers, and switches.
- Basic knowledge of server maintenance, data backup systems, and CCTV operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software issues.
- Responsible, patient, service-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
- Flexible and able to work well in a team environment.
