Job Description:

1. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources.

2. Assemble large, complex datasets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

3. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automation of manual processes and optimization of data delivery, to enhance scalability and efficiency.

4. Build the necessary infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS 'big data' technologies.

5. Develop analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics, such as customer acquisition and operational efficiency.

6. Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

7. Work with data and analytics experts to enhance the functionality of data systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions. Provide solutions or alternatives to business challenges using data-driven insights.

8. Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement data solutions.

9. Design reports and performance measurement dashboards to support business objectives.

10. Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accuracy, and completeness.

11. Continuously strive for greater functionality in data systems, implementing process improvements and leveraging new technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in data analytics, database management, and computer programming.

2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, in a leadership or supervisory role overseeing BI projects or teams.

3. Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies, and methodologies related to business intelligence and data analytics.

4. Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, trends, and insights, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, to understand requirements, present findings, and collaborate on solutions.

6. Possesses a positive attitude, is adaptable, and demonstrates a pleasant personality conducive to teamwork and collaboration.

7. Prior experience in building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures, and data sets, demonstrating proficiency in handling large volumes of data efficiently.

8. Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, Glue, Lambda, RDS, and Redshift, with the ability to leverage these services to implement scalable and cost-effective BI solutions.

9. Proficiency in object-oriented or object function scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala, for data manipulation, automation, and scripting tasks.

10. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI to create insightful and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and presentations.

11. Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.

12. Understanding of data privacy and security regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and implement best practices to protect sensitive information.
