About the job Key Account Manager Food Service

Job purpose: The main objective of this position is to be a leader in the development of new businesses in the market or group of markets under his/her responsibility. Being a leader and support business growth with the implementation of the strategic and development of new routes and established by executives assigned by the distributor. The Key Account Manager Food Service (KAM FS) will be responsible for leading and achieve the KPI set for the market or group of markets under his/her responsibility in terms of manage the complete business and reach the KPIs and resolve any issue with the operation, example responsible to reach with his/her team the targets in metric tons, gross profit, DSO, JBP execution with the MEUs, development categories and execute the guidelines to growth on each category from his Regional manager and especially in the penetration and market development with increase use in differentiated products and high profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree completed in Business, Marketing or similar commercial equivalent.
  • Nice to have: MBA degree. Master in Marketing, Finance or operations.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of sales experience is required, ideally in Food Service or Food sales.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Must have experience managing Distributors, Foodservice segment or HORECAs
  • Nice to have: experience in both Central America and key Caribbean markets.
  • Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid drivers license and automobile and American VISA.
  • Must have problem solving, strategic mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Fully Bilingual in Spanish and English verbal and written.
  • High level of responsibility.
  • Analytic skills.
  • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives of varying complexity
