I. GENERAL SUMMARY
Accountant will provide assistance to the Accounting Team, Manager, and CFO with
accounting related matters as well as special projects assigned by management.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Handle High Volume Data Entry.
Responsible for All Accounting Processes for Various Portfolio Companies,
including Daily Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable and Payable, and
Journal Entries.
Prepare Tax Returns, including Generating Informative Tax Return Forms 480, Forms
1099, and Professional Services Withholding in addition to Retrieving Forms W-9 from
Vendors for Various Companies.
Manage Various Credit Cards via Expense Software (Abacus).
Responsible for Document Management Processes, including Organizing/Maintaining
Finance Department Electronic Files.
Ensure Account Accuracy by Reconciling Transactions, Investigating and Resolving
Discrepancies, and Keeping Information Confidential.
Assist other Accountants/Bookkeepers in Departmental Initiatives.
Complete Quarterly and Annual Regulatory Filings as well as the Preparation of
Assigned Quarterly and Annual Statutory Statement Pages/Schedules.
Create Standard Operating Procedures based on Duties Performed.
May Serve as a Backup to Complete Necessary Daily Functions.
Ability to Formulate, Interpret, Adapt, and Apply Company Policies, Regulations, and
Culture.
Contact Vendors for Various Reasons.
Ability to Proactively Follow Up on Items.
Maintain Accounting Functions through Business Central.
Support Accounting Managers and CFO on Projects.
III. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have a degree in Accounting and at least 2 years work experience in an
Accounting role with. Experience with QuickBooks and Business Central a plus. Bilingual
(English and Spanish) is a must. Preferred experience with the use of Microsoft Office,
including Outlook, Office, and Excel. Must be extremely organized and ready to improve
processes. Must possess the ability to learn quickly and have a proactive mindset.

  • Base Salary: Up to $40,000.00 P/Y
  • Quarterly bonus: Up to $3,000.00 P/Y
