Our client, a leading Fabricated Metal Products company operating in both B2B and B2C markets, is seeking a talented bookkeeper to join their team. As their trusted financial steward, you'll be responsible for managing a range of crucial tasks including financial transactions, invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling bank statements, generating insightful financial reports, and even assisting with tax filings. Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, invoicing, expense tracking, and payroll using Zoho Books.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports following US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
  • Handle company revenue, including tracking incoming revenue, monitoring accounts receivable, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Perform project accounting duties, including tracking project expenses, allocating costs to specific projects, and ensuring accurate project financial reporting.
  • Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
  • Experience with US GAAP
  • Prior experience with Zoho Books is a plus
  • Experience using QuickBooks, specifically within the construction industry is a plus
  • Deep understanding of bookkeeping principles and expertise in financial management.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to work independently.

  • Familiarize yourself with our company's financial processes and systems, including Zoho Books.
  • Begin managing basic financial transactions and invoicing tasks under supervision.
  • Participate in training sessions to understand our company's financial policies and procedures.

In the Next 30 Days:

  • Take ownership of financial transactions and invoicing processes using Zoho Books.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing day-to-day financial tasks independently.
  • Start reconciling bank statements and generating basic financial reports with guidance.

In the Next 30 Days:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our financial records and reporting requirements.
  • Take the lead in reconciling bank statements and generating detailed financial reports.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and efficiency.
