We're in search of a Senior Accountant/Junior Controller who will primarily handle bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities:
- Conduct standard bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure real-time accounting updates and accurate inventory management using QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in cash flow planning and budget forecasting.
- Utilize Excel and other platforms for financial analysis.
- Support in identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant License
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a CPA
- Proven experience in ecommerce accounting and Shopify platform.
- Experience with US GAAP
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Avalara, Excel
- Experience in inventory management and basic financial forecasting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to speak up and address issues.

- Begin managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and reconciliations.
