Role Overview

Operates as an extension of the senior commercial leadership team.

Hands-on, execution-led outbound role responsible for personally driving daily prospecting activity at volume.

Partners closely with leadership to activate outbound demand and open new commercial conversations.

Builds qualified sales pipeline through disciplined, high-frequency, multi-channel outreach.

Represents a consultative, value-led energy offering to senior and executive stakeholders.

Performance is measured across outreach output, quality conversations created, and pipeline generated.
Key Responsibilities

Own daily outbound execution across defined sectors and named account lists.

Operate within structured call blocks and sequencing cadences to generate consistent conversation volume.

Proactively identify, research, and engage target organisations via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and multi-channel outreach.

Run high-output outbound sequences to create new senior-level commercial conversations.

Qualify opportunities against ICP, commercial readiness, energy usage profiles, and strategic fit.

Secure and hand over well-qualified, decision-level meetings to senior commercial leaders.

Build and maintain a clean, commercially meaningful pipeline in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar).

Continuously refine targeting, messaging, and sequences based on performance data and market feedback.

Deliver consistently against agreed activity expectations, meeting quality standards, and pipeline KPIs.
Experience & Profile

5–10 years experience in outbound sales, sales development, or commercial growth roles.

Demonstrated success in high-activity outbound environments building pipeline from cold.

Proven ability to secure senior-level and decision-maker meetings.
-
Experience in renewable energy, sustainability, utilities, SaaS, or complex B2B services is a strong advantage.

Confident operating in phone-heavy, outbound-led commercial roles.

Commercially astute, highly structured, and outcome-driven.

Strong command of CRM systems and sales engagement platforms.

Comfortable operating in a contract consulting model with autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
