Role Overview
The Medical / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare products within an assigned territory (KZN).
This field-based role focuses on building strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, driving product uptake, and achieving agreed sales targets — while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities

Promote and detail pharmaceutical and healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare professionals

Develop and implement effective territory plans to meet and exceed sales targets

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers

Provide accurate, compliant product information and clinical education

Identify new business opportunities and grow market share within the territory

Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback

Attend medical congresses, product launches, and training sessions as required

Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records

Ensure full compliance with ethical, regulatory, and company standards
Qualifications & Experience
proven experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare sales

Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical sales environment and healthcare market dynamics
