The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.

Must-Haves:

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire. Or
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Or
• National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
• New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
