Heavy Haul Driver (Construction Equipment)

We support employers in the heavy equipment and construction sectors who need experienced CDL drivers to haul, load, and deliver machinery safely. This role is ideal for a driver who knows equipment, understands job sites, and takes pride in doing things the right way. All routes are local, and drivers are home every night.

What Youll Do

Safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment using flatbeds, lowboys, or drop-deck trailers
Operate equipment to load and unload (lifts, loaders, compact equipment, etc.)
Deliver machinery to customer job sites and verify accuracy of each order
Pick up equipment and ensure all assets are returned in good condition
Maintain required delivery logs and documentation
Follow all DOT and company safety policies
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Inspect equipment for basic functionality or job-site readiness
Keep trucks, trailers, tools, and the yard/shop areas clean and organized
Communicate proactively with the branch team regarding deliveries, delays, or equipment issues

What Were Looking For

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
Strong experience loading, chaining, and securing heavy machinery
Ability to drive manual transmission trucks (13-speed or 18-speed preferred)
Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading
Working knowledge of DOT regulations
Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers on job sites
General mechanical awareness is a plus
HAZMAT certification is a bonus but not required
Previous experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment rental, or related industries preferred
