About the job Marine Parts Manager
Our client, an established full-service recreational marina, is seeking a hands-on Marine Parts Manager to support its growing Marine Services department.
This position is responsible for ensuring marine technicians, yard personnel, and on-the-water crews have the correct parts and supplies available when needed. Responsibilities include parts identification and sourcing, receiving, inventory management, purchasing coordination, and accurate tracking of parts used on service work orders.
The ideal candidate understands marine parts and mechanical systems, stays organized in a busy service environment, and takes ownership of keeping work moving efficiently.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor position, not a supervisory warehouse management role.

- Communicate with suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, compatibility, and delivery timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency, supplier responsiveness, and parts costs.
- Take on additional purchasing responsibilities, vendor relationships, and sourcing activities as the position develops and operational needs change.

- Coordinate with the marina's separately managed retail parts operation regarding shared inventory, product availability, and purchasing needs.
- Pick, verify, package, label, and ship designated retail parts orders fulfilled through the shared parts inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transfers and assist with associated returns.
