Salary - £30,000-£42,500
OTE – Double OTE (but uncapped)
The company
Our client is a leading Payment Orchestration platform that has been laser focused on serving the iGaming industry. Their platform offer a single API integration into a wealth of Payment options all of which have the risk appetite to service iGaming merchants but also gives them the opportunity to scale with partners enabling them to cover the EMEA, LATAM, UAE and APAC meaning they have covered all the core hotspots for the vertical.
The platform also has AI powered routing to ensure higher acceptance rates, cascading, Tokenisation, Fraud and Risk mitigation and many other elements.
The kicker. Unlike all other Orchestration firms who charge their merchants to access their infrastructure. Our client provides it for free removing a huge barrier to market which is cost. Instead, they generate revenue through the revenue share agreements they have with their partnerships.
What this means for the sales team? You have the ability to provide a platform that offers huge value to merchants and just simply give it to them for FREE!
The role
This is a BDR role with a difference. Your core focus will be to identify and engage with new prospects within the iGaming industry, you are able to Target Tier 1, Tier 2 and startup operators and your aim is to qualify the prospects around their needs for an orchestration platform and schedule demos for the Senior Sales team to hold.
The core different, you will be involved in those demo meetings, firstly observing to rapidly build your knowledge of the entire sales cycles and then leading those meetings yourself with a seniors support before finally being promoted into a 360 sales position ideally within 6-12 months.
You will also earn commission not only from the meetings you book, but also the deals that are closed even if it is the senior that has closed it for you (the revenue commission will be split where the senior and the BDR both get a share) This has meant that the earning potential is far greater than a traditional BDR position.
Skills and attributes
Must Have
- Prior BDR experience within Fintech, SaaS, or Payments environment
- Understanding of running multi-channel, multi-threaded sales cadences including cold call, email, events, email, social, champion building etc
- Experience managing 180 pipelines within a CRM system – HubSpot, Salesforce, Etc
- Hunger and drive for success in a fast-paced scale up culture.
- Ambition for growth and progression which here can be fast tracked.
- Desire to learn from highly experiences Head of sales as a direct mentor.
Nice to haves
- Experience selling to the iGaming vertical (any product offering)
- Experience working within Payment Orchestration or PayFac
