Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Remote working from within Malta (must be based or open to relocating to Malta)
Salary: 65,000 - 80,000 EUR base + uncapped OTE

Company Overview

We work with a leading payment orchestration platform that streamlines payments for high-growth online businesses particularly in fintech, ecommerce, forex, and iGaming. Their modular platform offers smart routing, cascaded gateway failover, dynamic currency conversion, global alternative payment methods, and real time analytics. They are currently looking to continue driving growth across their iGaming client base and believe that having boots on the ground in Malta will add significant value to their business.

Role: Senior Business Development Manager iGaming (Malta)

Role Summary

You'll lead the acquisition and growth of new iGaming operator accounts from Malta and across Europe. As a senior commercial figure, you'll own complex sales cycles, build executive-level relationships, and influence the company's go-to-market strategy in the gaming vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle sales to iGaming operators: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to shape the go-to-market strategy for the gaming vertical.
  • Represent the business at key industry events (SiGMA, iGB Live, ICE), delivering product demos and building a qualified pipeline.
  • Consistently meet or exceed new business targets across assigned territories.
  • Provide market feedback, competitor insight, and contribute to product development strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM hygiene to support commercial leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Expertise

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • At least 3 years selling into the iGaming sector preferably to operators, platforms, or aggregators.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem: orchestration, PSPs, APMs, acquirers, fraud tools, and payment gateways.
  • Strong network within the iGaming industry, especially in Malta and broader EMEA markets.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Background working in high-growth fintech or SaaS environments preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and confident operating in an autonomous, target-driven environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Must be based in Malta and eligible to work in the EU.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
