Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer. Our client is a leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, specifically with expertise in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs, vision systems, and robotics, within a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

- Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, primarily focusing on Allen Bradley and Siemens systems, to ensure smooth operation of automated equipment and processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to identify areas for automation improvements and develop effective solutions.

- Lead the integration of vision systems to enhance quality control and inspection processes.

- Implement and maintain robotics systems for various automation tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.

- Strong expertise in programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs.

- Proficient in vision systems integration and robotics applications.
