Our client is a US company that owns a crypto trading platform oriented to institutional investors which integrates the crypto ecosystem via a single point of access.

About the role:

As a Software Engineer on our team, you will develop scalable infrastructure that processes millions of orders each day and provides cutting-edge services to high-end financial customers, and work as a server-side developer to work on blockchain technology.

What Youll Do

• Work on new and existing features that increase the speed and functionalities such as: new trading algorithms, exchange integrations, performance improvements
• Use deductive reasoning to solve complex problems that potentially exist beyond the scope of your local environment.
• Become proficient in understanding a wide range of backend services, how they all interact with each other, and what needs to change when adding to or improving our platform.
• Have a high level of responsibility in your projects. It'll be up to you to ask the important questions on top of coming up with optimal solutions.
• Find the right balance between progress (i.e. shipping quickly) and perfection (i.e. measuring twice).
• Have an active role in helping influence product architecture and roadmap.
• Work in a highly dynamic and distributed workplace with a team of equally talented engineers.

What you need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience working as a Software developer
• 3+ years of experience in Golang software development
• Experience with Javascript

What could set you apart

• Experience with trading concepts such as types of markets, spot vs. derivatives, and how exchanges work.
• Experience working with blockchain
