Position Overview

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC (SWECS) is seeking a dependable and motivated Apprentice Helper to support our electrical crews on commercial and industrial job sites. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to grow in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on field experience under the supervision of licensed Journeymen and Foremen.

Minimum Requirements

• Must hold a current and active Apprentice Electrician License

• Meets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for new hires

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Excellent attendance and punctuality

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to maintain a minimum required tool list

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians and Foremen with installation of electrical systems

• Pull wire, install conduit, and support panel and device installation

• Maintain and organize materials, tools, and equipment on job sites

• Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards

• Read and interpret basic blueprints and installation instructions as directed

• Ensure job site cleanliness and safety compliance

• Support project timelines through teamwork and accountability

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work at heights when required

• Comfortable working in commercial and industrial environments
