We're looking for a hands-on Linkbuilding Specialist who knows the full spectrum — from editorial outreach and digital PR-style campaigns to platform-based placements and partnership building — and who can execute across all of it without cutting corners.
This isn't a "send 200 emails and hope" role. You're a structured, quality-driven specialist who turns SEO priorities into real placements, keeps the pipeline clean, and knows exactly what a good link looks like before it goes live.
Your Mission:
- Own link building execution across multiple international client campaigns — prospecting, qualifying, outreaching, buying, verifying, and documenting — end to end, at a consistently high standard.
What you'll do:
- Execute link building campaigns across all major approaches: editorial outreach, digital PR-style campaigns, partnerships, linkable assets, and platform/paid placements
- Prospect and qualify opportunities using the right quality signals — topical fit, editorial context, traffic/visibility signals, and risk checks — before committing to any placement
- Run structured outreach where it fits the strategy: strong angles, clean personalisation, disciplined follow-ups, professional communication
- Source and manage platform-based placements: evaluate offers, negotiate price vs. quality, and make buying decisions that make SEO and business sense
- Build and maintain long-term publisher and partner relationships for repeat placements, better terms, and smoother collaboration over time
- Perform post-placement quality control on every link: live, correct anchor, right context, indexable, and documented cleanly
- Keep your pipeline structured and transparent in our tooling — tracking, statuses, next steps, and weekly output
- Collaborate async-first via Slack, Loom, and Monday to keep delivery tight and predictable
KPIs: Placement volume · Relevance & quality score · Post-placement pass rate · Pipeline health · Price vs. quality judgement
Who You Are:
- You have solid hands-on experience in link building/off-page SEO and can explain what quality looks like — and why a placement doesn't make the cut
- You understand the full range of linkbuilding methods and know when to use each one based on strategy, niche, and budget
- You evaluate every opportunity through the right lens: topical fit, editorial context, sustainability, and risk — not just DR and price
- You work in a structured way: clean pipeline, clear priorities, predictable weekly output, zero dropped threads
- You take ownership of outcomes — not just tasks. If something isn't right, you flag it and fix it
- You communicate clearly in an async-first environment: updates are clean, handovers are documented, nothing lives only in your head
- You do your own work — no outsourcing, no agencies, no shortcuts
- English fluency is required; Dutch is a strong plus
- Not for you if you treat link building as a numbers game, can't explain your quality judgement clearly, or need someone to manage your pipeline for you.
