This role is built for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves, stay close to the operation, and take full responsibility for results. You'll run the business like it's your own-driving sales growth, leading a tight-knit team, managing inventory, and delivering fast, reliable service to our contractor customers.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and want real authority, real responsibility, and real impact, this is your opportunity. Our product focus includes Commercial and Industrial Insulation and Fiberglass Reinforced Paneling (FRP).
Key Responsibilities:
Full P&L Ownership
- Run the branch like an entrepreneur.
- Drive profitability through smart cost control, margin discipline, and relentless sales focus.
Hands-On Operations Leadership
- Lead from the front across daily operations—inventory, receiving, order fulfillment, warehouse flow, and delivery fleet management.
- Keep the branch organized, efficient, and customer-ready at all times.
Sales & Service Growth
- Build strong relationships with contractors and uncover new opportunities in the Nashville market.
- Deliver quick, accurate, dependable service that keeps customers coming back.
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and mentor a small team of warehouse, driver, and sales staff.
- Build a culture of hard work, humility, accountability, and safety.
Inventory & Logistics
- Maintain accurate stock levels with regular cycle counts and tight controls.
- Ensure on-time, error-free deliveries to job sites.
Safety & Compliance
- Hold the branch to the highest safety standards (OSHA, DOT, and internal policies).
- Lead by example to keep people safe and processes clean.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years in construction supply, building materials, or wholesale distribution.
- Proven success managing small teams and daily operations.
- Strong financial understanding and P&L decision-making.
- Clear, confident communicator who builds trust with customers and employees.
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or construction fields is a plus.
