Job Overview:

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems for our client's manufacturing processes. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes

- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts

- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)

- Conduct testing and commissioning of new equipment and systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems and equipment

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development

- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
