KINESIOLOGIST

We're looking for a passionate Kinesiologist to provide in-home and community-based rehab services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). In this role, you will be working with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries or chronic conditions to restore function and mobility and regain confidence in their daily lives. The ideal candidate is registered with the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia or Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, has experience working with complex orthopedic trauma, post-concussive autonomic pacing, chronic pain, and progressive work/ADL re-conditioning, and enjoys collaborating within a delegated multidisciplinary team.

Requirements to Succeed: 

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology
• Membership with the Kinesiology Association of Nova Scotia (KANS) or the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (CKA)
• Professional Liability Insurance
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License with access to a vehicle
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the last 3 months)

HOURS
Flexible schedules depending on client needs

RATE OF PAY

• 60% of billable services: Expect an all-inclusive contractor payout range of $48.00 to $66.00/ hour
• Note: This flat hourly rate represents total commercial compensation for the scheduled community session milestone and is completely inclusive of all required travel time to and from client homes, vehicle mileage/expenses, and professional documentation/charting time.
