Role Description
Salary starting $115,000
Full Relocation Package
This is a full-time, on-site role based near Taylors, SC. As a Corporate Project Engineer (900), you will be responsible for overseeing project engineering tasks, managing project plans, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication throughout the project's lifecycle. Daily tasks include project planning, engineering assessments, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Project Management and Project Planning
- Expertise in Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Experience in related industry roles is a plus
- Travel to all US manufacturing facilities to provide technical support, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment assessments.
- Must know how to interpret, process flows, and equipment functionality
- Provide input into the design and optimization of equipment to maximize reliability and performance
- Solicit contractors, vendors, and consultants
- Conduct engineering reviews of project plans, drawings, materials, and installations
- Ability to coordinate, facilitate and conduct internal and external project review meetings
- Supervise trades and contractors for safety and quality
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited institution
- 3 to 5 years of recent engineering experience in construction project management within heavy manufacturing (metal, steel, wood, or automotive industries)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret Civil, Structural, and Mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities, including planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring work to meet project goals
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Power BI
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for professional growth and success
