We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts/Admin Clerk to work for one of our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post daily receipts by the end of the following working day.
- Post all adjustments to customer accounts as requested.
- Prepare all cheques and petty cash payments.
- Ensure all local payment vouchers and cheques are signed and paid on time.
- Assist with posting Local Payments.
- Maintain the cheque book log and ensure all payment vouchers have signatures.
- Ensure all stock damages are processed within one day of receiving instructions.
- Maintain the fuel charge schedule.
- Prepare Fuel reconciliation monthly.
- Prepare Monthly Payroll Reconciliation.
- Maintain the COD report and follow up on outstanding receipts.
- Assist in reconciling GL accounts as requested.
- Assist with filing.
- Performs any other related duties that may be assigned by the Chief Finance Officer
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- CAT certification from a recognized institution and 1 year of experience in the accounting field OR
- Five (5) subjects at CXC level (Accounts, Mathematics, and English are Compulsory) with 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
- Previous experience in a similar position would be an asset.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Thorough knowledge of Accounts Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
WORK SCHEDULE
- Standard working hours Monday- Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
