We are currently looking for a reliable Night Auditor to work for one of our clients.

JOB SUMMARY

The Night Auditor plays a key leadership and operations support role during the hotel's overnight hours. Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of front desk operations, the Night Auditor performs guest service tasks, security checks, and financial audits. This individual works closely with the nighttime team to maintain safety, accuracy, and a high level of guest service when senior leadership is off duty. The role demands a responsible and detail-oriented person capable of managing guest interactions and performing critical end-of-day financial verifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete daily revenue verification and audit tasks.
  • Submit all Oil & Gas billing summaries to the Front Desk Manager before the shift

ends.

  • Review and verify all charges posted throughout the day (In-House & Check-outs).
  • Ensure guest folios are accurate, with separate room and food charges invoices.
  • Confirm that all bills are attached correctly, loose receipts, or unverified entries.
  • Review Oil & Gas meal limits to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Maintain complete and accurate overnight reports for management review.
  • Log all handovers, guest complaints, and unresolved requests for morning shift staff.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks and support duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between night and morning staff.
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures during overnight hours.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, or issues with professionalism and urgency.
  • Provide general concierge support, including wake-up calls, special requests, or early check-outs.
  • Coordinate transportation services for guests, including airport pickups and drop-offs.
  • Offer leadership and guidance to front desk and transportation staff on duty. Security & Safety Oversight
  • Conduct regular property patrols and basic security checks throughout the night.
  • Monitor entry points and address any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
  • Follow safety protocols and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Document and report any incidents, accidents, or disturbances to management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service, especially in a night shift or front desk role.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation/POS systems.

Preferred:

Experience in hotel night audit operations or supervisory night roles.

Familiarity with oil and gas corporate billing procedures is an asset.

Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) or hotel front desk software.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 5 days per week - Rotation may require working on weekends and holidays.
  • Overnight shift 10:00 pm 6:00 am
