About the Role
A small, established property management company based in Northwest London is looking for an experienced Property Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. The role will focus on the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of residential properties, supporting landlords, tenants and contractors and ensuring that tenancies are managed efficiently and in line with relevant requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the administration of residential tenancies from commencement through to renewal and termination
- Preparing and coordinating tenancy renewals and liaising with landlords and tenants
- Communicating with tenants regarding tenancy-related queries and general property matters
- Liaising with local councils regarding council tax, housing matters and other property-related enquiries
- Assisting with tenancy compliance and ensuring relevant documentation and records are kept up to date
- Maintaining accurate property, tenant and landlord records
- Coordinating property inspections and following up on any issues identified
- Liaising with contractors and arranging access to properties where required
- Assisting with move-ins and move-outs, including coordinating relevant paperwork and documentation
- Monitoring key tenancy dates and ensuring important actions are completed on time
- Preparing and sending correspondence to landlords, tenants, councils and other relevant parties
- Assisting with deposit administration and tenancy documentation
- Keeping property files and systems fully up to date
About You
- Previous experience within residential property management or property administration is essential
- Good understanding of the residential lettings and tenancy lifecycle
- Experience dealing with tenancy renewals and tenant/landlord correspondence
- Comfortable liaising with councils and other external organisations
- Confident using Microsoft Office and property management software/systems
- Professional and personable manner when dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Able to work effectively in a small team and take responsibility for their own workload
Location: North West London
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time
