Personal Assistant to Director

Our client, a growing company within the payments and financial services sector, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Director and help bring greater structure and organisation to a busy and fast-moving business.

The Director is currently involved across many different areas of the company and is often pulled in multiple directions throughout the day. As such, they are looking for someone who can act as a trusted right-hand person, helping to organise priorities, manage day-to-day tasks, and introduce structure where needed.

This role is within a small but growing company, and the exact scope of responsibilities will naturally evolve over time depending on where the Director requires support. The successful candidate will therefore need to be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where they can help bring organisation and efficiency to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and organising the Directors diary and schedule, ensuring time is used effectively
  • Email and communication management, helping prioritise messages and draft responses where appropriate
  • Acting as a central point of coordination for meetings, calls, and internal discussions
  • Helping bring structure and organisation to the Directors day-to-day workload
  • Assisting the Director in prioritising tasks and managing competing demands
  • Supporting with general administrative duties, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Liaising with internal staff and external contacts on behalf of the Director
  • Helping implement systems and processes to improve organisation and efficiency
  • Providing general business support as required within a growing company environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a senior administrative role
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a flexible role where responsibilities may evolve
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential matters

Salary, Hours & Location

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Hours: Flexible working hours available

Location: Central London (with hybrid / work from home options available)
