Location: Near Kalamazoo, Michigan
Pay: $33.86/hour + shift premium + biannual increases
Shifts: Second and Third Shift (off-shift availability required)

Summary

Join a well-established automotive manufacturer as a Tool & Die Maker. Youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing metal stamping dies to ensure smooth production and meet customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on metal stamping dies
• Conduct equipment quality checks and welding tasks as needed
• Troubleshoot die-related issues in a fast-paced production environment
• Set up and adjust dies for optimal performance
• Operate basic tool room machinery
• Support other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred
• Journeyman Tool & Die Card (Department of Labor) preferred
• Experience in:
• Automotive sheet metal stamping (required)
• Large transfer and progressive dies (preferred)
• High-output manufacturing environments
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with support teams
• Completion of all required company and customer training.
