Product Marketing Lead
About the job Product Marketing Lead
The Product Marketing Lead owns taking the product to market: how the product is positioned, launched, demonstrated, priced, and discovered by the people who need it, and whether trials and pipeline move as a result.
This is a hands-on role that will grow into a leadership position. You will lead growth execution yourself until the team grows around you. You will think holistically about the product and every market-facing function, rather than focusing on a single channel.
Key Responsibilities
The goal for the person in this role will be to:
- Own the go-to-market plan, its 30-day checkpoints, and weekly reviews, deciding what to keep, change, or stop based on evidence.
- Own channel strategy and budget across paid, organic, outbound, partnerships, and events, and be accountable for trials and pipeline by segment and market.
- Own positioning and messaging by segment, market, and persona, keeping them current based on real customer conversations.
- Build the demo narrative, sales enablement materials, objection handling, and competitive positioning that the team uses to sell.
- Own launches for everything the product team ships, communicating honestly about what is live and what is coming.
- Recommend pricing and packaging changes based on evidence, and turn customer conversations into proof through stories, quotes, and references.
- Run fast experiments to help the right people discover Knoccs: one bet live, one measured, and one stopped or scaled in every cycle.
- Direct the Creative Designer's brand, website, and content work towards what actually converts.
- Calibrate paid acquisition on LinkedIn and Google for new markets, and address why paid campaigns currently generate demo requests but fail to convert them into trials.
- Produce the weekly funnel report using Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn, HubSpot, and Knoccs' own data, while owning website measurement and optimisation.
- Run outbound within our limits and own the AI agents that support the funnel, launching at least one new agent.
- Build SEO and AEO capabilities in-house once existing channels are working, with external guidance on tools and techniques.
- Feed market insights back to the product team in writing, supported by evidence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing or go-to-market, having owned positioning, a launch, and a channel plan end to end at least once.
- Hands-on experience running demand generation independently, including HubSpot or an equivalent CRM, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads.
- Experience creating demo or sales enablement materials that others have used, and producing a funnel report that you have presented and defended to a founder or head of marketing.
- Knowledge of AI tools and a habit of using them in your own work.
- Preferred: Experience selling into the US, UK, Canada, or Australia, and experience with a self-serve or trial-led product.
- High energy and a strong sense of ownership. You take initiative and execute rather than wait for tasks to be assigned.
- Evidence over instinct. When the numbers change, you adjust your position and communicate that change.
- Collaborative by nature. You see designers and teammates as partners, not resources.
- Eager to learn quickly and grow with the company, while remaining committed to honesty in claims, outreach, and data, even when nobody is watching.
- Based in Karachi, with an in-office work arrangement and up to two days working from home, along with flexibility to accommodate US and UK time zones.
