Position: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Location: Fresno, CA

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $36.00

  • Annual Salary: $74,880 (based on a 40-hour workweek)

  • Possible relocation (discussed during the interview)

  • State licensure reimbursement after 90 days of employment

Role: As a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray, you will be responsible for providing essential diagnostic services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various other locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit results to a Radiologist for interpretation.

  • Safely unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport it into facilities to conduct physician-ordered exams, ensuring the acquisition of clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.

  • Perform EKGs as required and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if necessary).

  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with established protocols.

  • Maintain open and efficient communication with dispatch and management.

  • Interact professionally with colleagues, supervisory staff, and clients.

  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role include pushing/pulling objects weighing between 50 to 100 lbs. The use of vehicle ramps and pulleys can reduce the weight, but it may increase when moving equipment within a facility or home. Technicians may encounter forces of 50 lbs or more, occurring 16 to 24 times a day.

Requirements:

  • Maintain the necessary State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, meet health requirements, and comply with operational requirements.

  • Possess a valid driver's license in the applicable state and maintain good standing at all times.

  • COVID-19 vaccination is required, and proof must be submitted in the candidate packet at the time of submission. Requirements are subject to change as per client policies.
