Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a valid certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) from an accredited program.

• Current membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is preferred.

• Additional specialized certifications and training are a plus.

State License Requirements:

• A current and valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure in compliance with state regulations.

• Knowledge of state-specific Occupational Therapy regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and limitations.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.

• Evaluating the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjusting plans accordingly.

• Providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
