Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 per year

Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with us, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch patient care. We are looking for RNs with expertise in Long Term Care, Behavioral Health - Mental Health, and PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) to provide specialized care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and competent patient care within the designated specialty, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians or nurse practitioners.

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly identifying any changes or complications.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health maintenance, and disease prevention.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.

  • For PICC specialists, demonstrate proficiency in central venous catheter care and perform PICC insertions as required.

  • Stay current with the latest developments in nursing practices, protocols, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.

  • PICC Certification for candidates applying for the PICC specialty.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory. Proof of vaccination must be submitted with the candidate packet at the time of application.

  • Strong knowledge of central venous catheter care for PICC specialists.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR (Operating Room), IR (Interventional Radiology), or PICC insertion for PICC specialists.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment.
