Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SQ Med Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care by operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images. Tasks and Responsibilities: As a Radiologic Technologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing radiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.

  • Positioning patients correctly to obtain accurate images.

  • Adjusting and maintaining radiologic equipment to ensure clear and high-quality images.

  • Ensuring patient safety by following radiation safety protocols.

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

  • Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Perform and process X‐Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.

  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)

Requirements:

  • COVID 19 Vaccinated Required, Proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined.

  • Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.

Physical Demands: The role of a Radiologic Technologist may require the ability to:

  • Lift and position patients, possibly with assistance.

  • Stand for extended periods during patient examinations.

  • Maneuver radiologic equipment and accessories.

  • Bend, stoop, and kneel to position patients and equipment.

  • Maintain focus and attention to detail for prolonged periods.

Certification Requirement: Candidates for this position must possess:

  • Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.

  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

State License Requirement: Applicants must hold a valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in [Specify the state or states relevant to the job location].
