Production Coordinator | Manufacturing | On-Site
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting production schedules to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Production, Processing, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth daily operations and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and plant capacity
- Coordinate with Production, Processing, Purchasing, and Sales teams to align scheduling priorities and operational goals
- Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, or unexpected changes
- Analyze production data and workflow trends to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs while minimizing waste
- Enter and manage purchase orders for raw materials to ensure proper inventory timing and availability
- Communicate production schedules and schedule changes clearly to all relevant departments
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory reports, and scheduling documentation
- Assist in improving operational processes and production planning procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or supply chain environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- ERP system experience required
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Background
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience with inventory coordination, purchasing, and production scheduling
- Familiarity with production workflows and supply chain operations
