Production Coordinator | Manufacturing | On-Site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting production schedules to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Production, Processing, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth daily operations and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and plant capacity
  • Coordinate with Production, Processing, Purchasing, and Sales teams to align scheduling priorities and operational goals
  • Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, or unexpected changes
  • Analyze production data and workflow trends to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs while minimizing waste
  • Enter and manage purchase orders for raw materials to ensure proper inventory timing and availability
  • Communicate production schedules and schedule changes clearly to all relevant departments
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory reports, and scheduling documentation
  • Assist in improving operational processes and production planning procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or supply chain environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • ERP system experience required
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Background

  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with inventory coordination, purchasing, and production scheduling
  • Familiarity with production workflows and supply chain operations
