Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

A well-established, multi-divisional technology company is seeking a 3D Laser Scanning Technician & Autodesk Support Specialist to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for a motivated professional with AutoCAD experience who is excited about working with advanced 3D scanning and drone technology.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the AEC and manufacturing industries while gaining valuable field and technical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 3D laser scanning surveys at construction sites, office buildings, homes, and industrial facilities

  • Travel locally and out of town to various customer sites; swing shifts and physically demanding environments (rooftops, basements) are often part of the job

  • Post-process scan data using software such as Faro Scene and Autodesk ReCap

  • Deliver software demos and provide first-level Autodesk client support, including licensing and account assistance

  • Maintain project documentation, scan logs, and client communication

  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure project goals are met

Qualifications:

  • AutoCAD experience is required (Certified Professional is a plus)

  • FAA Part 107 certified UAV drone pilot preferred

  • Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be comfortable with physical work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working non-standard hours

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively are essential
