Parts Data and Specification Analyst

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about data accuracy and engineering process excellence? Join our team as a Product Data & Specification Analyst, where you'll play a critical role in driving product development and continuous improvement through precise specification and parts data management. You'll support major engineering change initiatives by maintaining accurate Bills of Material (BOM), Material Master records, and parts attribute data in SAP and PLM systems. This role offers the opportunity to influence cross-functional decisions and help shape the data backbone of innovative machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and update SAP data to support engineering design changes across complex parts and assemblies as part of the Product Delivery Process (PDP).

• Manage and maintain detailed part specifications, including BOMs, Material Masters, and part attributes using SAP and PDMLink.

• Analyze engineering data and documentation to ensure accurate and timely specification changes.

• Audit and process specification-related business requests while ensuring compliance with internal standards and data integrity.

• Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams providing feedback and consultation that supports accurate specification development and implementation.

• Monitor and manage the flow of engineering changes, ensuring consistency and completeness across systems.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, document decisions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline specification updates and change implementations.

Preferred Background:

• Background in engineering, data analytics, customer service, or supply chain is beneficial.

• Familiarity with SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g., PDMLink) is a strong plus.

• Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for process-driven work and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong willingness to learn and grow in a technical, data-centered role.
