Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Materials Specialist to support critical operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you will help manage the timely flow of materials essential for production, service parts, and inter-factory coordination. Your contribution will directly impact the success of production schedules and on-time delivery performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the flow of materials throughout the manufacturing supply chain to support on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across production, logistics, and procurement.
  • Utilize SAP-PP to manage scheduling and planning functions efficiently.
  • Apply scheduling knowledge to maintain continuity across fast-paced production timelines.
  • Support and adapt to change control processes, adjusting material flow plans as needed.
  • Interface with legacy systems such as CWIS to ensure smooth service parts fulfillment.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently to resolve material flow or timing challenges.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (e.g., supply chain, operations, business administration).
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Recent graduates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment, with up to 90% of the time spent on the shop floor.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP-PP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of legacy systems such as CWIS.
  • Understanding of change control and material planning processes.
  • Prior experience with production scheduling or materials planning in a manufacturing setting.

Additional Information

  • Onsite interviews required; business casual attire is expected.
  • Metatarsal foot protection is required for the first day on-site.
  • This position may involve operating a utility vehicle on the shop floor following successful training.
  • Start time is between 6am and 7:30am
  • Overtime may be required, including extended weekday hours or weekend work. Flexibility for off-shift support is expected as needed.
