Communications Specialist
Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote
Shift: Flexible Start (Between 7:00am and 8:30am), 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to develop and execute clear, engaging messaging strategies across multiple platforms. This hybrid position supports both internal and external communications through written content, digital media, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement communication plans to ensure timely delivery of key messages related to projects, events, and business changes
• Develop strategic content across various media, including video, design, and print
• Write and edit compelling content for web, social media, newsletters, executive communications, and internal reports
• Support leadership messaging by crafting polished materials such as letters, presentations, and announcements
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to align communication strategies with business goals
• Manage communication projects from planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and brand standards
• Assist in planning communication strategies that promote awareness, clarity, and engagement

Required Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in writing, journalism, marketing, or communications
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software
• Experience with HTML or basic web editing tools
• Strong communication planning skills and ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences
• Project management experience, including budgeting, planning, and cross-functional coordination
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and brand alignment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in creating multimedia communication campaigns
• Familiarity with internal communication strategies or change management support
• Portfolio of writing samples or digital content
