About the job Supply Chain Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to support our growing operations team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in supply chain, business, or accounting who thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Youll play a critical role in ensuring seamless order fulfillment, managing supplier relationships, and supporting strategic sourcing initiativesall while contributing to continuous improvement efforts in cost, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) by analyzing quotations, selecting suppliers based on performance criteria (cost, quality, lead time, etc.), and implementing cost reduction strategies.
- Support sourcing activities and supplier selection within new product development cycles, in collaboration with strategic sourcing teams.
- Develop and manage inventory plans to meet material flow and asset management goals.
- Participate in make-versus-buy studies and implement resourcing initiatives as needed.
- Assist with engineering change management to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of design improvements.
- Analyze supplier performance using internal tools and processes to drive accountability and performance improvements.
- Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment issues to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Use tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI to manage and report data effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Business Agriculture, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with a keen eye for process improvement and supplier relationship management.
- Open to recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch. Some flexibility may be possible.
