Material Coordinator / SAP Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SAP Coordinator / Material Coordinator to support daily material flow operations and inventory management at our manufacturing facility. This hybrid role combines technical SAP system usage with hands-on coordination on the shop floor. Youll work cross-functionally with supply chain, shipping/receiving, and material flow teams to ensure accuracy in inventory, efficient movement of materials, and timely shipment of products. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Flow Operations:

• Collaborate with the Material Flow Analyst to locate, research, and ensure timely storage of hot parts and machine-down orders.
• Maintain and resolve Negative Primes in SAP daily; investigate discrepancies and report findings to supervisors.
• Conduct regular storage audits and enforce adherence to proper material handling processes.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to short stock and missing picks before back orders are placed.

Shipping, Inventory & Yard Coordination:

• Assist with trailer movement scheduling via the PINC Yard Management System for consistent inbound/outbound flow.
• Monitor WCS and TRAKKER systems to identify and correct parcel issues in the shipping sequence.
• Support the billing process and resolve discrepancies for outbound loads.
• Manage quality-related concerns with outbound shipments through investigation in WCS and DNS systems.
• Address inventory inconsistencies found by warehouse staff; adjust inventory within DNS and SAP to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and manage material inventory from off-site storage, ensuring replenishment through the Product Distribution Center (PDC).
• Coordinate mobile equipment for preventative maintenance and assist with operational cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Respond to material-related issues flagged by internal departments through email and direct communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams
• Proficient in SAP for material and inventory management
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data visualization
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability in a production environment
