Position Title: 3rd Shift Operations Supervisor
Shift Schedule: Sunday night Thursday night, 8:30 PM 5:00 AM
Location: Onsite | Metatarsal safety footwear required
Training: May begin on 1st shift
Overtime: Required as needed

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and support third-shift operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring the successful flow of materials and products, and maintaining alignment with key business metrics. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams during off-shift hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of hourly and salaried personnel to meet and exceed departmental goals
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Oversee material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse processes
  • Drive engagement and foster a safe, high-performance culture
  • Collaborate across departments to support production schedules and quality standards
  • Maintain compliance with workplace safety policies and regulations

Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):

  • Ability to work third shift, train on first shift, and flex across shifts including overtime and occasional weekends
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; comfortable working with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution, inventory control, and material flow processes

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Prior experience supervising or leading in a unionized environment
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and 5S standards
  • Exposure to incentive-based pay systems such as CIPP or other performance-based programs
  • Proficiency in using data and statistical tools for process improvement and quality management
  • Background in project management or operations planning
  • Experience with capacity planning and workforce scheduling

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree (any discipline preferred)
  • Equivalent experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory or relevant leadership experience
