Supply Management Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Management Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in supporting casting supply chain operations in a high-impact manufacturing environment. This position will serve as the key liaison between internal operations and external machined casting suppliers to ensure smooth coordination of material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment of production demands. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement of raw castings between the foundry and external machining suppliers.
• Manage and analyze daily inventory reports, offering insights and updates to supply partners.
• Generate and maintain demand forecasts and past due order reports for key stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for external suppliers, ensuring alignment on material delivery and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal supply teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain operational flow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Strong analytical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
• Clear, professional communication and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• Eagerness to learn tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Power BI independently.
• Prior experience with SAP is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.
• Business casual attire is expected.
• This is a fully onsite position in Waterloo, IA.
• Occasional travel to other local sites (approx. once every other week) using your own vehicle may be required.
• Metatarsal safety shoes will be required, though not immediately.
