As a CNC Machinist/Operator at NordStaff Solutions, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work with a variety of materials, such as metal, wood and plastic, to create parts that meet strict quality standards. CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC
(Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components
according to technical drawings and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience reading technical drawings, setting up
machines, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production
process.
Requires a strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and quality
control standards.

Working hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly pay 15.17, monthly pay approximately 2400-2700
Mainly daytime work
Length of assignment: at the moment 2-3 months, later up to 12 months or

WORK EXPERIENCE AND KEY COMPETENCE

Competence
Experience Level:
Minimum 5 years, ideally 510 years in CNC machining.
Machine Operation:
CNC Milling and Lathe Machines
Plasma cutters, bending machines, grinders, band saws, boring machines,
pillar drills
Control Systems:
Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, Mitsubishi, Haas
Programming Skills:
Proficient in G-code and M-code
Experience with CAM software (e.g., WinCAM, Mastercam, Autodesk)
Production Experience:
Operating CNC machines in a production environment
Performing in-process inspections and quality checks
Troubleshooting and optimizing machining processes
Qualifications
Certifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical or vocational training/apprenticeship in machining or manufacturing
technology
Certifications:
Forklift certification or proven experience in material handling
Technical Literacy:
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Skilled in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height
gauges)

Multi-axis CNC machines (4-axis, 5-axis)
Software Skills:
CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX)
ERP or MES systems for job tracking and reporting
Quality and Standards:
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100 quality systems
Material Knowledge:
Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics
Process Understanding:
Machining principles, cutting speeds, feeds, tool wear, and coolant systems
Ability to edit and optimize G-code for efficiency and quality

maintain tolerances.

Speaking: fluent spoken English and capability to communicate without effort in
