CNC Machinist / Operator – Finland

Location: Various locations across Finland

NordStaff Solutions is seeking experienced CNC Machinists/Operators to
join our growing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and
maintain CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to
technical drawings and quality standards.

This position offers long-term opportunities, with assignments ranging
from short-term projects to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Perform tool setup, calibration, and offset adjustments
- Edit CNC programs and carry out basic manual programming
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and dimensional
accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong experience with CNC milling and CNC lathes
- Knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, and program editing
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers,
gauges)
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming
- Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or WinCAM is an
advantage
- Technical or vocational training in machining/manufacturing preferred
- Forklift experience or certification is considered a plus

- Plasma cutters
- Bending machines
- Grinders
- Band saws
- Boring machines
- Pillar drills

Experience with control systems such as:

- Fanuc
- Heidenhain
- Siemens
- Mazatrol
- Mitsubishi
- Haas
