Position Overview
StaffHero is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (USRN) with an active Georgia RN license to join our healthcare team. This remote role involves supporting patients, healthcare providers, and clinical operations through care coordination, patient communication, clinical documentation, case management support, and other nursing-related responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is clinically knowledgeable, highly organized, and comfortable working in a remote healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support and clinical guidance to patients and healthcare teams.
- Conduct patient outreach, follow-up calls, and care coordination activities as assigned.
- Review and document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and healthcare services.
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
- Support case management, utilization review, care management, or intake processes as required.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, client requirements, and healthcare regulations.
- Escalate clinical concerns and urgent patient issues appropriately.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace.
Preferred
- Additional active US state nursing licenses.
- Experience in case management, utilization review, telehealth, care coordination, patient intake, or healthcare support services.
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance, managed care, or value-based care environments.
- Experience working remotely in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
