Job Description: Were helping a Dallas brand search for a Mid-Senior level Merchandise Planner to make a direct impact on their brand's success by ensuring they have the right products at the right time across both DTC and wholesale channels.
What You'll Do:
Be a Forecasting Pro: Take the lead on inventory forecasting, using your skills to build and manage the budget and inventory plans. Your insights will directly influence sales, margins, inventory targets.
Factory Partnerships: Partner with our factories and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring a seamless flow of our stunning products from creation to our customers.
Analyze and Optimize: You'll be the go-to person for all things data for color trends, sales performance and other key categories! You will run and create reports to analyze business performance and key metrics (sales, returns, markdowns, on-order, and margins).
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, ecom, and warehouse to align on goals and strategies.
Who You Are:
5-8+ years of merchandise planning experience in retail or consumer goods;
DTC and/or wholesale experience strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or related field preferred
An Analytical Whiz: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You love diving into data to find the story behind the numbers
An Excel Guru: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel formulas and data extraction/manipulations to create the reports needed
Highly Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail is impeccable. You take initiative and can manage multiple tasks with ease, all while maintaining accuracy.
A Self-Starter: You are driven, self-managing, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You're adaptable and can handle real-time business changes with a positive attitude.
