We're looking for a meticulous and seasoned Accounting Manager to lead our finance team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensure full compliance with GAAP standards, and manage the end-to-end financial reporting process.

- Accounting Degree
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their practical application
- Skilled in account analysis, journal entry preparation, and general ledger maintenance
- Experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, and management of financial processes
- Proficient in financial software, with preferred experience in QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
- Exceptional analytical abilities, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in fast-paced environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, supporting teamwork and stakeholder engagement
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Direct daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger oversight.
- Ensure financial reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyses to maintain data integrity across financial systems.
- Manage and review journal entries, verifying precise transaction recording within accounting software.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and support the implementation of recommended improvements.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring proper classification and thorough documentation of all entries.
- Mentor and train accounting team members in double-entry bookkeeping principles and reconciliation best practices.
